LC/MS Agilent 1100 series
LC/6300 SL ion trap MS
The 1100 series Agilent
Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) is equipped with a binary pump system,
thermostatted autosampler with multi-well plate capability, thermostatted
column compartment with switching valve, a UV-VIS diode array detector (DAD),
and analytical fraction collector, that can be operated in time- and
peak-triggered mode.
The Agilent 6300 series SL
ion trap mass spectrometer (ion trap MS) can be operated “in-line” with the LC
system (LC/MS) or completely separate, e.g. for the analysis of purified
fractions collected with the analytical fraction collector.
The system is capable of
performing MS(11) although unless very high amounts of sample can be ionized
and trapped, MS(3) or MS(4) are probably more realistic limits for most
applications.
