ICP/MS User
Facility
ICP/MS (Inductively Coupled
Plasma/Mass Spectrometry) is well suited for analysis of metals in samples with
a wide range of matrices. Environmental,
medical, industrial, and specialty chemical research as well as many industrial
production processes rely on the use of this highly sensitive and specific
tool.

Schematic of Sample
Introduction, Plasma, Octopole Reaction System, and Mass Spectrometer System
utilized in Agilent 7500ce ICP/MS. The
octopole reaction system can remove interferences such as dimers and adducts
efficiently, thus increasing the signal-to-noise ration and ultimately
sensitivity of the analysis. Contact

Student in Land and Environmental Resources (LRES), 2006). Similar analyses can be conducted for example
for arsenic speciation or mercury speciation. Contact us to find out more.
