People in Education: Brent Peyton joins MSU College of
Engineering

Bozeman--Brent Peyton joins Montana State University's chemical and biological engineering faculty after five years with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He also spent eight years as a faculty member at Washington State University where he served as associate director of the Center for Multiphase Environmental Research. He earned the Researcher of the Year Award from WSU's department of chemical engineering five times. Peyton holds three U.S. patents, one for a biomonitoring device and the other two for metals removal and analysis methods. Peyton earned a doctorate in chemical engineering from MSU in 1992.
