2003 Outstanding Researcher Award

The 2003 Outstanding Researcher Award was presented to Betsey Pitts. The award recognizes her contributions to industrially sponsored projects, thoughtful mentoring of numerous undergraduate and graduate students, and, most recently, her enthusiastic efforts to develop the CBE microcopy facility.

This award recognizes individuals who have not only demonstrated exceptional creativity and productivity in their research, but who have also made special contributions to research life at the Center for Biofilm Engineering. (Presented July 23, 2003)
