2002 Outstanding Researcher Award

The Center is proud to present this award to Mark Shirtliff, in appreciation of his outstanding research work, training of numerous colleagues in molecular techniques, organization of the CBE seminar series, and enthusiastic mentoring of undergraduates.

This award recognizes individuals who have not only demonstrated exceptional creativity and productivity in their research, but who have also made special contributions to research life at the Center for Biofilm Engineering.  (Presented July 23, 2002)
