Quantifying biofilm
structure using image analysis (PDF file)
Image Structure Analyzer (ISA) Software
The biofilm image analysis software, ISA, developed by the Biofilm Structure and Function Research Group is
now available. The software calculates textural entropy, homogeneity, energy, contrast, correlation, areal porosity, run lengths, diffusion distances and fractal dimension from digital biofilm images. To request a copy of the software along with pertinent information please send an email to: ISA@erc.montana.edu.
