The BIOGLYPHS project directors would like to extend thanks to Dr. Robert Sharp, Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering at Manhattan College, for welcoming Bioglyphs to his laboratory, for making arrangements to find a place for the installation, and for encouraging his students to get involved in this art/science collaboration. A HUGE thank-you goes to Margo Adgie who did more marvelous things to make this project happen than we can ever enumerate. You're the BEST, Margo!! We would also like to extend a special thank-you to Harry Welsh, Director of the Manhattan College Library, to his staff, and to the physical plant workers, all of whom went out of their way to graciously make a place for Bioglyphs and the collaborators. Thank-you to Rob Wilke for technical consulting on capturing the Bioglyphs on film, and to Terry Karson for photography of the installation. Thanks to Margo for taking the laboratory photographs and the "late installation" photos. We would like to acknowledge Katherine Van Dyken and James Meyer for their assistance in preparing materials for this show. We deeply appreciate the support and encouragement of these Montana State University people: Al Cunningham, Richard Helzer, Philip Stewart, and Nick Zelver. We are grateful for the welcome and assistance we received from Cynthia Pannucci, Director of Art & Science Collaborations, Inc. Finally, we are again indebted to Pablo ("If it don't glow, there ain't no show") Vibrio, who brought a beautiful experience to the Bioglyphs viewers. |
