ORAL PRESENTATION FORMAT
Your paper has been selected for an oral presentation. The sessions are organized so that each author has 20 minutes for the presentation. Please use 15-17 minutes of that time to present the results and 3-5 minutes for questions and answers. We suggest that you limit the number of slides to 15-20.
Each meeting room is equipped with one video projector, a personal computer, a microphone, laser pointer, and one screen of appropriate size. Although you may want to bring your own laptop to support your presentation, we encourage you to use the supplied computer. The time required to switch computers and to synchronize it with the video projector impacts the time available for presentations; sometimes it doesn't work exactly as planned. If you decide to use our equipment please bring your presentation on a compact disk (CD), or e-mail your presentation to biofilms2004@erc.montana.edu at least one week before the conference (please ask for a confirmation). If you decide to use your own equipment, please get in touch with the technical assistant supervising the session well in advance, and check compatibility of your system with our system. Note: If your graphics or video clips are not imbedded (linked to a external file) in your presentation please be sure that you bring them as well. Our computers are equipped with the latest versions of Microsoft® Powerpoint, Netscape, and Internet Explorer. If you need any other presentation support please send an e-mail to biofilms2004@erc.montana.edu before September 24.
We do not have a speaker ready room. To upload your presentation to our computer, please contact the technical assistant supervising your session no later than during the 30 minutes break before your section starts.
If you have questions regarding audio/visual or computer support, please contact us via e-mail at biofilms2004@erc.montana.edu. We will respond within three business days.
